![]() However, I have had no issues yet with these lights and they have never broken or had any issues over 2 years of heavy use. I purchased my lights in separate orders over the past 2 years and for some reason the last light I received has a different feel to it's plastic and slightly different markings, so I am not sure if the product line is changing. If I am somewhere very dark or the road quality is very poor: I set both to solid and the road is very well illuminated. On a typical nightly commute: I set one to blinking to help me be seen and I set one to solid so I can better see the road. If it is rainy, dusky, or I am worried about how visible I am: I set both to blinking. I keep two of these lights on each of my bikes. I commute daily by bicycle and many of the streets on my path are poorly lit. ![]() So consider what you want, if you're only riding for fun on streets where there is light, little traffic, you probably dont want to spend 20 dlls plus the batteries, But if you ride on streets where there's no light at all, there is much traffric, or even offroads, I highly recommend this lamp. If you use the light still, batteries will last half of the use you get if you use it flashing. But I think that they last long for the use and the brightness you get from this product. The only disadvantage that I found is that it uses 4 AAA batteries which are around 5 bucks a package. You can even attach and detach the lamp from the base that holds it, in just a click, withouth having to taking the base off the handles, so you can take the lamp with you anytime you enter anywhere and put it back in when you're done. The product itself is ver easy to mount, very solid, and very practical and easy to use. I know it is 20 bucks just for the front light, but it really lights your way up to 25 ft with a bright light. This Bell iPulse light, it is very bright! seriously, I didnt think this would be such a powerful lamp. ![]() However, the front light it is a little dim when it comes to riding on places where there is no lights. This Schwinn lights was a good purchase because it is a quality product. So a great light set to have.I have tried other bike lights, the last one I tried was a Schwinn( which is a quality brand), and it was a package that came with both lights(rear and front) and I got it for $17.50 plus tax. I found as long as your careful you can have the rear light horizontal or vertical, just by moving the little connection part around in the rubber strap. But normally as long as you carefully with the charging cable it will work. Rear it is again great and bright, did have a problem after sometime charging the back light. The cold weather doesn't help the battery, The brightness is very good if like me you have two light on the front you will have a very good view of the road and nearside, making seeing what is around you at the front. They are rechargeable and in my week of cycling I cycle 1 hour a day this lights will last on full beam 3 days before I recharge them again as on the 3 day you get a little red light on the on off button flash to tell you they will need changing. The light set is very nice easy to turn on and off and has about 4 settings full, half, fast flash, slow flash, for both lights.
